GCC Joint Program Production Institution Strengthens Arts Through Children's Theater

Under the framework of the Gulf Cooperation Council's Joint Program Production Institution's role in promoting the arts, His Excellency Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Director General of the institution, attended the theatrical performance "Zarqoun and the Magic Lamp" at the institution's theater. The event was also attended by His Excellency Abdulaziz Yaqub Al-Babtain, CEO of Ooredoo Kuwait.

The play stars renowned artists, including Hifa Adel, Mohammed Al-Rashid, Abdullah Bahman, Ahmed Al-Najjar, and Lulwa Al-Mulla, alongside a constellation of stars, under the direction of the esteemed Najaf Jamal.

Notably, the play is presented by Ooredoo Kuwait as part of its corporate social responsibility and sustainability strategy, coinciding with Kuwait's selection as the Capital of Arab Culture and Media for 2025.

This initiative highlights the institution's commitment to enriching Gulf cultural and artistic production while fostering partnerships that enhance the region's creative landscape.

Director General of the Joint Program Production Institution Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Sabah Receives Delegation from Qatar Media Corporation

Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Sabah, Director General of the Joint Program Production Institution of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), received a delegation from the Qatar Media Corporation, headed by Mr. Abdulrahman Al-Obaidan, Advisor to the Office of the Corporation's President. The meeting was attended by Mr. Abdullah Al-Muhannadi, Director of International Cooperation and Agreements, and Mr. Ali Al-Sada, Director of Qatar Television.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed ways to enhance joint media cooperation and exchange expertise between the two institutions. The discussions focused on developing Gulf media content, supporting purposeful program production, and unifying efforts toward future media projects that reflect Gulf identity and shared culture.

This meeting underscores the commitment of both institutions to strengthen strategic partnerships in the media field, contributing to the advancement of a unified Gulf media vision.

Deepest condolences and sympathy to the family of the late Media Advisor Fakhri Odeh

The Director General of the institution, along with its employees, extends their deepest condolences and sympathy to the family of the late Media Advisor Fakhri Odeh, who worked at the institution from 2013 to 2021. The deceased, may God have mercy on him, contributed to many of the institution's productions, most notably the animated series "Adnan wa Lina" (Adnan and Lina).

We pray to Almighty God to envelop the departed in His vast mercy, grant him a place in His spacious Paradise, and bestow patience and solace upon his family, loved ones, and relatives.
