Honoring Ibrahim Al-Abdalmohsen, First Director General of GCC Joint Program Production Institution, on its 50th Anniversary

Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Director General of the GCC Joint Program Production Institution, honored Ibrahim Yousef Al-Abdalmohsen, the first Director General of the institution, in recognition of his contributions to Gulf media during his prolific career at the institution's founding, on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. The ceremony was attended by Abdullah Subaih Bofteen, Managing Partner of Kuwait News Media. Al-Abdalmohsen led the institution in its early years from 1976 to 1988 at the peak of its activity, producing famous works such as "Iftah Ya Simsim" and "Salamtak," which remain memorable to Gulf viewers. He earned a BA in Media from the University of Texas in 1968 and an MA in Media from Ball State University in Indiana in 1975. He worked as an executive producer on numerous educational and awareness programs such as "Qif," "Kunuz Al-Khaleej," and "Qadaya wa Rudud," among others.

Honoring Stars of Song "Ya Kuwait Ahebbaj" After 5 Million Views

The Director General of the Gulf Cooperation Council's Joint Production Institution, His Excellency Sheikh Mubarak Fahad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, honored the stars of the song "Ya Kuwait Ahebbaj," produced by the institution, after its views exceeded 5 million. The recognition included artist Hanin Al-Ali, who performed the song, artist Abdulaziz Al-Abkal, who wrote the lyrics, and artist Abdulsalam Mohammed, the composer, in appreciation of their contribution to the song's success and the sincere national sentiments it carried toward the State of Kuwait.
