The Qatari Amiri Diwan announced the passing of His Highness the Father Emir, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, who passed away on Sunday morning at the age of 74. May God envelop the deceased in His vast mercy and forgiveness, grant him a place in His spacious paradise alongside the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous—what excellent companions they are. May God reward him abundantly for the great and enduring deeds he contributed to his homeland and the Arab and Islamic nations. To God we belong and to Him we shall return.
